Before we dive into the streaming chart, let’s take a look at notable headlines from Week 12:
- Kyrie Irving hinted that he could return sometime next week
- Wendell Carter Jr. is “likely to miss multiple weeks” with a right ankle sprain
- Joel Embiid will have surgery on his left hand ligament on Friday and will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks
- Pascal Siakam is expected to practice Friday with hopes of returning next week
- Norman Powell is expected to play Sunday vs. the Spurs

Waiver Wire Pickups
Let’s get to the players you should consider picking up if they are available in your league: With Wendell Carter Jr. set to miss ‘multiple weeks’ with an ankle injury, Thaddeus Young is looking like a MUST-ADD in both 9-Cat and Points Leagues. Whether he is starting or coming off the bench, he has the ability to provide owners with solid Points, Rebounds, Steals, and 3-pointers. Jarrett Culver is taking FULL advantage of a KAT-less Minnesota team. Culver has been firing away from all over the field and contributing in Points, Rebounds, Steals, and occasional Blocks. While his overall FG% leaves a lot to be desired, Culver has been able to step it up in that department over his last three games shooting over 50%. With all of the injuries in Detroit, rookie Sekou Doumbouya has been getting a lot of run lately. He should be added in ALL Dynasty Leagues and in 12+ Team Redraft Leagues. At the start of the year, Kris Dunn was my favorite streamer for Steals, but he’s been racking up Steals at such a high rate (2.1) that he’s now owned in too many leagues for him to qualify for my list. Add Dunn for Steals while enjoying the low-end 3-pointers, Points, Rebounds, and Assists that go along with it. Last week, I urged you to pick up both Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber respectively while Porzingis was sidelined. The same holds true this week as there is no exact timetable for Porzingis’s return. Even though Jaxson Hayes doesn’t receive consistent minutes, he remains a Blocks and FG% specialist. Damion Lee has been a waiver wire dandy for the past month. He recently graduated from a two-way contract and is currently working on a multi-year deal with the Warriors. Lee should continue to receive heavy minutes for a tanking Warriors team. He should be added in ALL leagues. Coach Nick Nurse expects Norman Powell to return on Sunday, which is great news for his owners. Before Powell went down, he was enjoying a productive stretch. He was providing owners with a steady source of Points, Rebounds, and 3-pointers with low-end Assists and Steals. Matisse Thybulle returned at the perfect time as Joel Embiid will be out for at least the next few weeks. When given the minutes, Thybulle can rack up Steals and Blocks in a hurry.

If all of the above players are taken in your league, I’d consider adding the following players and riding the wave while they’re producing Top 100 value during Week 12 (all owned in under 50% of Yahoo Leagues)
