Fantasy Basketball Dynasty: Sell high Players Like Hot Cakes

Updated: Jan 24, 2020

Fantasy Basketball Dynasty league owners, we have to evaluate the logic of selling high because it can be difficult. At the same time, we don’t want to over-analyze it because it can be similar to Fantasy Basketball Redraft and Points Leagues. There are some players to bring up that you may potentially want to sell high on. Although some of these players you might find yourself regretting it later.Newlifefantasy Fantasy Basketball Dynasty Sell High Players

In this article, we will talk about a list of Fantasy Basketball Dynastyplayers that can potentially be players to sell high on. We’re already through 25% of the NBA season, which is sad to say. Before you bat an eye, it will be All-star week. When do you sell high on a player? How do you sell a player?

A general rule to utilize is recent games played. Whatever website you host in your league helps you with that. If you play on Yahoo formats, this can be a very underrated tool. Another rule of thumb is to give the owner the current facts and advise the dynamics of the team. I will go more in-depth on episode 150 ( Take A Ride Podcast ) soon. Be prepared for our staff to expand.

Sell High Players Like Hot Cakes

Spencer Dinwiddie Age (26)

Strengths: Usage, Points, 3 Pointers, Assists, FT%

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 Years Top 70

Spencer Dinwiddie is a solid contributor. It’s almost not fair to include him in this article. He is having a great year thus far. It might be because Kyrie & LeVert has missed an extended amount of time. His Value has shot him inside the Top 75 so far this season. He has never finished inside Top 100 in his Career, but we can expect that this year. Even if Kyrie or LeVert comes back, he is just fine coming off the bench. We knowKDwon’t be on the court this year. Expect some Usage, Points, and assists to regress some only because he is currently carrying Brooklyn on his back.

Chris Paul Age (34)

Strengths: Points, 3 Pointers, Assists, Steals, FT %

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 Years- Top 50 and Retirement

CP3‘s Age alone is the main reason to sell. Of course, in most drafts, he went later in Dynasty formats. First of all, Paul’s situation in OKC is getting murkier with each passing day. Rumors swirled around that he would go to Miami Heat. If he doesn’t go to a contending NBA team soon, load management may be on the horizon. It seems like Miami is fine at the guard position. Dynasty format is a tough sell for Paul, but a package of a Top 80 Talent with a draft pick may help. Converse with a contending team to see if it works for them.

Evan Fournier Age (27)

Strengths: Usage, FG%, Points, 3 Pointers, FT%

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 Years – Top 70

Evan Fournierhas been on fire the last few weeks. Can you believe this is his 8th season in the league? Career-high Averages in FG% and Points. These averages may potentially come down. Vucevichas been out. Aaron Gordon is a good NBA player, but just OK in fantasy. Orlando is looking towards Markelle Fultzand Isaac for that youth injection. That is not to say Fournier will be left out in the cold, but this is the time to sell.

  • Redraft = Sell
  • Points = Hold

Norman Powell Age (26)

Strengths: 3 Pointers, FT%

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 Years- Top 80

Norman Powell is scoring more points and taking more shot attempts this year. Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green left Toronto, which opened up usage. The assumption was that Norman and OG would be the beneficiaries of their absence. OG has been the biggest winner of production in Toronto. This breakout has had Norman on the outside looking in even though Powell has been doing well recently. You still may need to sell with Kyle Lowry back and also the emergence of Fred VanVleet. Expect inconsistencies from Norman when he doesn’t get the usage.

  • Dynasty = Sell
  • Redraft = Sell
  • Points = Sell

Kevin Love Age (31)

Strengths: Usage, Points, 3 Pointers, FT%

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 Years – Top 40

It is safe to say the Top 20ish ADP no longer belongs to Love.

Maybe Kevin gets traded to a contending team. When you go to a different team, things can change for a player. Every NBA team has unique wrinkles on game-play. Whether he stays in Cleveland or wears a different Jersey, we can expect more missed games. The last time he played more than 61 games was back in 2015.

  • Dynasty = Sell
  • Redraft = Sell
  • Points = Sell

Jabari Parker Age (24)

Strengths: Usage, FG%, Points, Steals

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 Years – Top 65

Jabari Parker has played well in Atlanta this year. Some believe that this is not a sell-high player. An outlier Category is his steal rate this year. Parker’s best steal average was 1.0 in 2016 where he only played 51 games. That was his best season in Milwaukee at the time. John Collins has only played five games this season, which has opened up time for Parker. Jabari is a potential hold in Dynasty formats, but I’ll pass. In conclusion, Hunter and Huerter maybe potentially better prospects than Parker long term also.

  • Dynasty = Sell
  • Redraft = Sell
  • Points = Sell

Marcus Morris Age (30)

Strengths: Usage, FT%, Points, 3 Pointers, Rebounds

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 YearsTop 110

Marcus Morris is the definition of the New York Knicks Team. Run the offense through him because Fiz (Sarcasm) knows how to operate the team. Morris is the best player on the Knicks right now. Currently smashing his Dynasty ceiling right now. Hard to fathom Mitch Robinson and DSJ coming off the bench. Maybe the Knicks know something we don’t. If your somehow able to sell Marcus Morris for a top 60 or better hit accept. Hurry before Fiz brings him off the bench and gives him 15 mins a night.

  • Dynasty = Sell
  • Redraft = Sell
  • Points = Hold

Tristan Thompson Age (28)

Strengths: FG%, Rebounds, Blks, TO

Potential Dynasty ADP Ceiling in 3 YearsTop 140

Tristan Thompson played way over his head earlier this season. The Sell high window is probably closed. He’s starting to come back to earth. At one point in the season, he was inside the Top 25. Hard to imagine how wild that was several weeks ago. See if there are any desperate GMs in need of a big. He isn’t the answer long term.
