We made it to Week 4! How’s that juggernaut fantasy team of yours looking so far? Whether you’re flying high at 3-0, sitting solidly at 2-1, scraping by at 1-2, or about to make a legendary comeback at 0-3; EVERY WEEK COUNTS. Don’t coast. Stay active on your waiver wire and trade market. Most importantly, don’t sleep on these rankings. Let’s get you a win this week.
Before we dive into the rankings, check your waiver wire to see if Sam Darnold and Jakobi Meyers are available. Why?
Darnold was the QB5 in Week 3 and is the QB12 overall through the first three weeks of the season. He’s shown brilliant rapport with D.J. Moore and sneaky rushing ability with three touchdowns on the ground. The Christian McCaffrey injury dings Darnold’s upside a little, but rookie Chuba Hubbard is a capable replacement. If you need a QB or your current starter isn’t cutting it, add the USC product.
Next, Meyers hauled in 9-of-14 targets in Week 3’s loss to the Saints. That’s PPR gold. The Patriots were calling his number left and right as they tried to claw their way back. Start him with confidence as a WR2/3 this week with the TOMpa Bay Buccaneers coming to town. Meyers should get all the targets he can handle this week in what is bound to be another negative game script for New England.
OK, now that my Darnold and Meyer spiel is over, let’s take a look at a few notable injured fantasy players we need to monitor heading into Week 4: Dalvin Cook, Jonathan Taylor, DeAndre Hopkins, George Kittle, Julio Jones, A.J. Brown, Kenny Golladay, Darrell Henderson Jr., JuJu Smith-Schuster, Rob Gronkowski, Will Fuller V, Elijah Mitchell, Josh Jacobs, and Curtis Samuel.
