Fantasy Basketball Week 3 Streamers

Fantasy Basketball Week 3 Streamers & Waiver Wire Pickups

Here we go! The second week of the Fantasy Basketball season is quickly coming to a close, and with that comes our Week 3 streamer recommendations. There is no better feeling in the WORLD than hitting on a streamer. Whether you stream a player for just one game or the whole week, streamers have the power to win you your matchup. In rare cases, streaming a promising player can turn into a long-term pickup that could turn your team into a championship-level team.

Before we dive into the streaming chart, I think we can all agree that A LOT has transpired through the first weeks of the season, which includes:

  • Kendrick Nunn’s HOT start
  • Stephen Curry OUT 3 months with a broken hand
  • Embiid and KAT suspended 2 games for hugging too tightly
  • Brandon Ingram’s resurgence in New Orleans
  • Deandre Ayton suspended 25 games

And the list goes ON and ON with surprising hot starts, cold starts, and various injuries. The randomness of the NBA this year is the reason why we all tune in on a nightly basis. Every night a new player can emerge from the ashes and be a solid streamer with the potential to be a solid pickup for the rest of the season. When a player is HOT, you need to ride the wave for as long as you can.

The following list of players are ALL owned in UNDER 50% of Yahoo, ESPN, and Fantrax leagues.

Please Note: We have added a column labeled “Plays Th/Sa”, which highlights players who play on Thursday and/or Saturday. These days have low game counts therefore valuable streamers are limited.

Matisse Thybulle is NOT ONLY my top streamer for Week 3, but he is my #1 Waiver Wire pickup. He should be owned in ALL category leagues due to his ability to rack up steals and blocks in bunches. Through the first 4 games, Thybulle is averaging 3.0 steals and 1.5 blocks. That is GOLD in category leagues. Rodney Hood needs to STOP being ignored. On the season, he is averaging 12.2 points, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks on 32 minuter per game. The opportunity is there and he’s not only a great streaming option, but he should be owned. Danuel House Jr. has been a pleasant surprise this year. Not only has he been a 3-point specialist with 2.8 per game, but he’s also chipped in across the board with 5.4 rebounds, 0.8assists, 0.8 steals, 1 block, and 12.6 points. He’s been consistent all year, and if you stream him this week, don’t be too quick to cut bait. The next two players you should be consider adding and rostering beyond streaming are Jordan Poole and Eric Paschall. These two rookies on a depleted Warriors team should get plenty of run with Stephen Curry sidelined for 3 months and Draymond Green heading for load management. With Myles Turner set to miss the next two weeks of action, Goga Bitadze is worth taking a flier on in all scoring formats. He may have a rough game or two, but the upside is too great to leave on the wire. Lastly, this is a friendly reminder that Kendrick Nunn needs to be added IMMEDIATELY. If you’re reading this article, I assume Nunn is already taken in your league, BUT he is currently UNOWNED in 29% of Yahoo leagues, 45% of ESPN, and 18% of Fantrax leagues. It’s time to rectify that and make sure he is owned in 100% of leagues across the boards. He is the real deal.
