Waiver Wire Pickups

Let’s get to the players you should consider picking up if they are available in your league: PJ Washington returned to action last Friday and he should be picked back up wherever he was dropped. As long as Karl Anthony-Towns is sidelined, Gorgui Dieng should be owned and started. Over the past few weeks, Willie Cauley-Stein has been putting up consistent offensive and defensive stats. Keep rolling him out there in your lineup until he cools off. Kevin Huerter has been receiving consistent minutes in the low-to-mid 30s over the past week. He’s providing PTS, 3PM with low-end REB and AST. It feels like we waited FOREVER for Deandre Ayton to return from suspension, and now he’s out due to an ankle injury. UGH. As long as Ayton is out, Aron Baynes will be a solid streamer. Damion Lee went OFF on Christmas Day to the tune of: 22 PTS, 15 REB, 4 AST, and 3 STL. He won’t be NEARLY this productive moving forward, but why not add him to see if he can provide numbers close to that? Over the past 7 games, Aaron Holiday has posted double-digit points to go along with low-end REB, AST, and STL. Furkan Korkmaz has been a 3&D machine lately, so if you need those stats on your team then go ahead and ride him while he’s hot. Gary Payton II has received 30+ minutes in both of the games he’s played since being called up. He deserves to be owned in deeper leagues while the Wizards are dealing with the injury bug. Ever since Robert Williams AKA “Time Lord” went down, Enes Kanter has been receiving consistent minutes in the low 20s. If you need elite FG% to go along with low-end PTS and REB, give him a look.

Top 100

If all of the above players are taken in your league, I’d consider adding the following players and riding the wave while they’re producing Top 100 value during Week 10 (all owned in under 50% of Yahoo Leagues)

  1. Nemanja Bjelica
  2. Jabari Parker
  3. Nerlens Noel
  4. Kris Dunn
  5. Duncan Robinson
  6. George Hill
  7. Delon Wright
  8. Glenn Robinson III
  9. JaVale McGee
  10. Danny Green
  11. Dillon Brooks
