We’re officially through the first 9 weeks of the season! What’s your record? I assume 9-0! Even if you’re 3-6, there’s still time to make a comeback. Keep grinding! There are A LOT of valuable players on their bye weeks, so pay close attention to our list so you can claw your way back into the playoff race. We want to see you make the playoffs!
In this article, I’m going to highlight 2 top streamers per position in deep and shallow leagues along with BONUS streamers to consider if the highlighted players are already taken in your league. Let’s begin!
QB
Shallow League Streamer (Owned in less than 60% of Yahoo Leagues)
Derek Carr (46% owned) vs Chargers
Last Monday, I suggested picking up Carr due to the consistently solid numbers he posted over the last 3 weeks. Over the last 3 weeks, Carr is averaging 289 yards and 2.3 TDs per game. Granted, these were all against beatable defenses, but it’s still nice to see him producing where he SHOULD. With Watson, Brady, and Wentz all on their bye weeks, we are suggesting using Carr as a solid replacement to get you through Week 10.
Other QBs to consider streaming: Daniel Jones (29%) at NYJ, Ryan Tannehill (23%) vs KC
Deep League Streamer (Owned in less than 20% of Yahoo Leagues)
Kyle Allen (10% owned) at Packers
As long as Allen has McCaffrey to dump the ball off to, he will always carry DEEP league streaming consideration. He has a decent floor and in leagues where all of the high quality QBs are taken or on their bye weeks, Allen should be able to manage your team to a Week 10 victory.
Other QBs to consider streaming: Mitchell Trubisky (20%) vs Det, Ryan Fitzpatrick (8%) at Ind
RB
Shallow League Streamer (Owned in less than 60% of Yahoo Leagues)
Tarik Cohen (56% owned) vs Lions
I know, I know! Cohen hasn’t shown much over the past few weeks or even the season. All of the quality RBs are taken above 60% of Yahoo leagues, so I had to get creative. I would take a shot on Cohen in PPR leagues as a dart throw FLEX play and hope that the Lions can keep up their scoring ways on the other side. If the Lions keep scoring, Trubisky will be forced to throw to Cohen either out of the backfield or out of the slot to keep up in this game.
Other RBs to consider streaming: Kalen Ballage (28%) at Ind, Ty Johnson (36%) at Chi
Deep League Streamer (Owned in less than 20% of Yahoo Leagues)
J.D. McKissic (14% owned) at Bears
Last week, McKissic received 7 touches (3 Carries and 4 catches) and turned it into 72 total yards and a TD. Even though he’s stuck in a full blown committee, he’s getting opportunity especially in the passing game. Roll him out in DEEP PPR leagues as a FLEX play.
Other RBs to consider streaming: Gus Edwards (6%) at Cin, Nyheim Hines (13%) vs Mia
WR
Shallow League Streamer (Owned in less than 60% of Yahoo Leagues)
Zach Pascal (41% owned) vs Dolphins
I mentioned Pascal as one of my Top Waiver Wire pickups, and I believe he can be used over the next few weeks. Last week, he caught 5 balls for 76 yards and a TD. He may not get those gaudy numbers every week, but he should be consistent as long as TY Hilton is sidelined. Pascal is the #1 receiver in this Colts offense, and whether Brissett or Hoyer is starting, Pascal is in good hands. He should be able to produce solid numbers for your fantasy team this week.
Other WRs to consider streaming: DeVante Parker (47%) at Ind, Cole Beasley (30%) at Cle
Deep League Streamer (Owned in less than 20% of Yahoo Leagues)
Hunter Renfrow (7% owned) vs Chargers
Over the last two weeks, Renfrow has 11 targets and has turned that into 10 catches for 142 yards and 2 TDs. As long as Carr is playing well and producing, Renfrow will have a solid floor in DEEP PPR leagues.
Other WRs to consider streaming: Deebo Samuel (12%) vs Sea, Darius Slayton (8%) at NYJ
TE
Shallow League Streamer (Owned in less than 60% of Yahoo Leagues)
Jack Doyle (35% owned) vs Dolphins
Doyle seems to be the forgotten man amongst the fantasy community, BUT he’s been a consistent option at TE. He has outproduced Ebron over the past two weeks, and he seems to have the trust of both Brissett AND Hoyer. Over the past two weeks, Doyle has 9 targets for 7 catches, 83 yards, and a TD VERSUS Ebron having 6 targets for 5 catches, 42 yards, and 0 TDs. It’s a volatile situation, but if you need a solid floor then Doyle is your guy.
Other TEs to consider streaming: Vance McDonald (53%) vs LAR, Jared Cook (43%) vs Atl
Deep League Streamer (Owned in less than 20% of Yahoo Leagues)
Mike Gesicki (14% owned) at Colts
Last week’s line: 6 Targets for 6 catches and 95 yards. I’ll take that production every day of the week at the TE position. With the unfortunate news of Preston Williams going down with a torn ACL, Gesicki becomes an even more intriguing option. Give him a shot if you’re desperate at TE and see if he can keep the momentum going into Week 10.
Other TEs to consider streaming: Tyler Eifert (8%) vs Bal, Irv Smith Jr. (2%) at Dal
DEF
Shallow League Streamer (Owned in less than 60% of Yahoo Leagues)
Browns (50% owned) vs Bills
Josh Allen and the Bills are usually good for a turnover or two, so if you need to stream a defense then go ahead and give the Browns a shot. The Browns are at home and should be able to keep this a low-scoring game.
Other DEFs to consider streaming: Packers (35%) vs Car, Cowboys (48%) vs Min
Deep League Streamer (Owned in less than 20% of Yahoo Leagues)
Giants (17% owned) at Jets
Sam Darnold KEEPS THROWING PICKS. For that reason alone, the Giants are worth considering in most leagues. This Giants Defense is capable of forcing a few turnovers, so look for them to provide a solid floor.
Other DEFs to consider streaming: Lions (9%) at Chi, Cardinals (2%) at TB
K
Shallow League Streamer (Owned in less than 60% of Yahoo Leagues)
Dan Bailey (38% owned) at Cowboys
Bailey has been as consistent as they come at the kicker position. This week, he goes to Dallas where I’m expecting the Vikings to move the ball well with their running game. Bailey should be good for a few field goals this week.
Other Ks to consider streaming: Adam Vinatieri (32%) vs Mia, Matt Gay (22%) vs Ari
Deep League Streamer (Owned in less than 20% of Yahoo Leagues)
Michael Badgely (13% owned) at Raiders
Badgley made his season debut last week to the tune of 4 field goals. As long as the Chargers can move the ball, Badgely will be a solid option for both shallow and deep leagues.
